Martin Scorsese supports ACE. Find out why.

Please help ACE raise $50,000 by December 31st

With your tax-deductible donation, you can help sustain and expand the ACE Online Archive—over 1000 hours of free full-length audio and video recordings from the Alan Lomax Archive—and support our Repatriation Projects and Teaching Resources that help local communities take pride in their great folk artists and traditional culture.

This year we did not receive critically needed funding that supported this work in the past. Even with our small staff and low annual budget of $300,000, we need to raise $50,000 before December 31st to avoid staff cutbacks and to keep our current projects alive.

Alan Lomax founded the Association for Cultural Equity to explore and preserve the world's expressive traditions. He dedicated his life to recording, preserving and promoting the music, dance and oral histories of men and women whose talent and wisdom give a true voice to their communities.

Our mission is to inspire Cultural Equity. We draw upon Lomax's vast archive of music, photos, film, video, interviews and research to develop repatriation projects, lesson plans, free online archives, and new resources to connect people with their musical roots and revive musical communities.

Every dollar counts. Please donate at any level you can and forward this to likeminded friends to help keep our doors open. If you appreciate and enjoy our online resources, and believe in the value of our repatriation and education projects we invite you to become one of our benefactors and help us reach this $50,000 goal.

ACE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Donation receipts are sent via email, and can be sent by fax or post if requested.
